Social Science
Social Science (Law and Society) (Secondary 4)
This course explores what it means to be an informed, participating citizen in a democratic society. Students will learn about the elements of democracy and explore their own and others’ ideas about civics questions. Students learn how to investigate and think critically about public issues, and what it means to react responsibly to them.
World History (Secondary 5)
World History is offered as a Personal Option course in Secondary 5. The course is designed to illuminate the major events of the 20th and 21st centuries, covering topics that have defined humanity and the struggles that humankind has faced over the past 100 years.
