Chamber music is offered as an optional course to Villa Maria students who already play an instrument. The level of proficiency - Intermediate to Advanced - requires students to take or to have taken private lessons.
Lessons are offered within the school schedule, as an optional course, or as an extracurricular activity at lunch or after school. The teacher will choose the type of program and repertoire in consultation with the student.
In addition to one-on-one classes, students will have the opportunity to work in small ensembles in the creation, performance and appreciation of music.
Every student who has registered and completed the required exams may receive a diploma issued by a school recognized by the ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport.
