Application 2020-2021 Academic Year

Admissions applications for the 2020-2021 school year will be accepted starting on Monday, August 19, 2019. As of this date, you can register your child online. 

We recently changed our admissions procedures.

Secondary 1

August 19, 2019 - September 22, 2019 (possibility of early acceptance - no admissions exam)

Complete the online registration form.

Once the online application has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation.

It is very important that you keep this email since it contains a link and a password required later on to view the decision on your child’s acceptance at Villa Maria.

Before your child's file can be considered for acceptance without writing the admissions exam, the following documents must be received by mail or submitted in person to the school by September 22, 2019 (after this date all candidates must write the admissions exam):

  • Report Cards: Photocopy of the final report card from the 2 previous school years (June 2018 and June 2019).
  • Birth Certificate: (Both original and a photocopy) indicating the name of the child's mother and father.
  • If the child was born outside of Canada:
    • The original and a photocopy of his or her Canadian citizenship; permanent residence certificate or card; or originals and photocopies of the student’s and parents' visas, as applicable.
    • Two pieces of identification on which appear the name and address of a parent in Quebec.
  • A cheque for $50 (non-refundable) payable to Villa Maria to defray the cost of reviewing the student file (post-dated cheques are not accepted).
  • If the child has an individualized education plan (IEP): A photocopy of the child’s latest IEP, to be taken into account when reviewing his or her file and the results of the entrance exam.

Await the decision of the school - after all files have been reviewed, decisions will be published on September 26, 2019.

Two possibilities:

  • Student accepted
  • Admissions exam to be written on date selected during initial registration process.

Please note that the verdict on your child’s admission can be accessed via the link provided in your entrance exam confirmation email using your personal email address and the password provided.

Official acceptance letter by postal mail received during the week of October 7, 2019.

Once your child has been accepted to Villa Maria, a registration form will need to be completed and returned along with a non-refundable registration fee of $200.

The procedures for sending these documents will be provided with your child’s acceptance letter.

September 23, 2019 - September 27, 2019 (mandatory admissions exam)

After being accepted to Villa Maria College, you must send us your registration form and pay the admission fees. Please send us the form and payment according to the instructions outlined in your child’s letter of admission to the school.
